Clinical Analysis of the Efficacy of Traditional Chinese Medicine External Application Combined with TDP Irradiation on the Maturation of Autologous Arteriovenous Fistula
Objective:To explore the effectiveness and safety of traditional Chinese medicine external application com-bined with infrared(TDP)irradiation in promoting the maturation of autologous arteriovenous fistula.Methods:Fifty pa-tients who underwent arteriovenous fistula formation were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,with 25 cases in each group.The control group received conventional treatment and nursing,while the observation group received traditional Chinese medicine external application combined with TDP irradiation on this basis.The changes in the internal diameter of the cephalic vein,the blood flow of the brachial artery,and the depth from the skin of the patients in the two groups were observed on the day after surgery,1 month after surgery,and 2 months after surgery.The maturation time of fistula and the occurrence of complications were compared between the two groups.Results:1 and 2 months after surgery,the internal diameter of the cephalic vein and the blood flow of the brachial artery in the observation group were significantly larger than those in the control group,and the depth from the skin was significantly reduced,with significant statistical differences;the average maturation time of autologous arteriovenous fistula in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group,and the maturation ratio 1 and 2 months after surgery was higher than that in the control group,with statistically significant differences;during the entire experimental observation period,the incidence of adverse events in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,with statistically significant differences.Conclu-sion:Chinese medicine external application prescription combined with TDP irradiation can effectively promote the matu-ration of fistula,improve the quality of fistula,and reduce the incidence of complications.
