Research Progress on Signal Pathway of Chinese Medicine Monomer Intervention in Osteosarcoma
Osteosarcoma is a common primary bone malignancy, which mostly occurs in children and adolescents.Due to its high local invasiveness and metastatic tendency,it often leads to high mortality, disability and recurrence rates in patients. This not only has a serious impact on the quality of life of patients, but also creates a huge economic burden on the patients'families and society. Therefore, how to quickly improve the survival rate, reduce the mortality and recurrence rates, and improve the quality of life of patients is one of the current focuses of researchers at home and abroad.Radiotherapy and chemotherapy are currently one of the most commonly used methods for the clinical treatment of osteosarcoma, but long-term radiotherapy and chemotherapy will cause serious damage to the patient's body,ac-companied by a series of adverse reactions,so this treatment method has certain limitations. In the past,a large number of scholars at home and abroad have found that the effective components of Chinese medicine monomers can effectively regulate the invasion, migration, proliferation, apoptosis and autophagy of osteosarcoma cells by mediating classical signaling pathways such as Wnt/β-catenin,Notch,NF-κ B,PI3K/Akt/mTOR,JAK/STAT,and MAPK,thereby inhib-iting the occurrence and development of osteosarcoma. As a treasure of traditional Chinese medicine,Chinese medi-cine not only has unique advantages such as low price, multiple targets, and a wide range of treatment, but also has few toxic side effects and is not easy to develop drug resistance. Therefore, this article reviews the purpose of preventing and treating osteosarcoma by studying the intervention of the effective components of Chinese medicine monomers on the above signaling pathways,in order to provide new ideas and theoretical basis for the clinical application of Chinese medicine in the treatment of osteosarcoma.
