Clinical Significance and Correlation Analysis of expression of Lipoprotein(a)in Patients with Phlegm Stasis Interjunction Cerebral Infarction
Objective:To explore the clinical significance and correlation of lipoprotein(a)(LP)expression in pa-tients with cerebral infarction(CI)with phlegm and blood stasis. Methods:A total of 302 CI patients hospitalized in the Department of Geriatrics, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to December 2022 were divided into phlegm-stasis group(n=150)and non-phlegm-stasis group(n=152)according to TCM syndrome differentiation.General clinical data, total cholesterol(TC),low-density lipoprotein(LDL),fibrino-gen(FIB),hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),homocysteine,(Hcy),uric acid(UA),platelet(PLT),medium/lymphocyte ratio(NRL),mean platelet volume(MPV),LP(a)and other laboratory indices were collected from the two groups. The differences in LP(a)levels between the two groups were compared and analyzed.Correlation between LP(a)and the above influencing factors. Results:There were significant differences in LP(a),TC,Hcy,UA,NRL,smok-ing history, and drinking history between the two groups(P<0.05).In terms of LP(a),Hcy,UA,NRL,smoking history, and drinking history, the levels of the phlegm-stasis group were significantly higher than those of the non-phlegm-stasis group(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in gender,age,LDL,FIB,hs-CRP,PLT,MPV,history of hypertension, and history of diabetes(P>0.05).The LP(a)level was positively correlated with TC,Hcy,and UA in both groups, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the phlegm-stasis group, the LP(a)level was more significantly positively correlated with Hcy and UA,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclu-sion:The serum LP(a)level in patients with phlegm-stasis type CI is higher than that in patients without phlegm-stasis type, and is positively correlated with TC,Hcy,and UA,and the positive correlation with Hcy and UA is more significant. The correlation analysis of serum LP(a)level in patients with phlegm-stasis type CI provides a reference for clinical exploration of objective indicators of TCM diagnosis of patients with phlegm-stasis type CI,and also provides a reference for preventing the occurrence of phlegm-stasis type cerebral infarction and controlling risk factors.
