To Explore the Clinical Effect of Massage on Plantar Fasciitis based on the Theory of"Syndrome Differentiation of Muscles and Bones"
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of massage in the treatment of plantar fasciitis under the guid-ance of the theory of"muscle and bone differentiation".Methods:A total of 98 patients with plantar fasciitis treated in the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2022 to August 2023 were selected and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,49 cases in each group. The control group received oral Western medicine combined with extracorporeal shock wave therapy, and the observation group was given massage treatment on the basis of the control group. The treatment lasted for 4 weeks. The visual analogue scale(VAS)scale,ankle-hindfoot function(AOFAS)score and clinical efficacy of the patients were compared before and after treatment. Results:After treatment, the VAS scores of the two groups of patients decreased significantly, and the AOFAS scores increased significantly compared with those before treatment, and the observation group was significant-ly better than the control group;the effective rate of the observation group was 93.88%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(79.59%),and the differences were statistically significant. Conclusion:Massage manipu-lation under the guidance of the theory of"muscle and bone differentiation"can effectively relieve the pain symptoms of patients and improve the foot and ankle function of patients, which is worthy of further clinical application.
