Clinical efficacy of Improved Formula Ziyun ointment in Treating Dermatitis after Mosquito bites in Infants and Young Children
Objective:To observe the effect of the modified formula Ziyun ointment in the treatment of dermatitis af-ter mosquito bites in infants and young children.Methods:From June 2021 to September 2023,50 cases of infantile and young children with mosquito bite dermatitis were screened from inpatients,TCM outpatients,pediatric outpatients,and kindergarten physical examinations in summer and autumn in Shandong Chronic Disease Hospital and Qingdao Eighth People's Hospital as research subjects.The mosquito bite dermatitis of the research subjects was used as a sample.Patients and their families were advised to use A,B,and C methods to treat mosquito bite dermatitis.Method A is to wipe the juice of the cross section of raw garlic externally,method B is to wipe the dexamethasone acetate cream(Pi-yanping)externally,and method C is to wipe the modified formula Ziyun ointment of our hospital externally.The relief of itching,pain,redness and swelling symptoms of post-insect bite dermatitis in patients after applying the medicine was observed and recorded.Finally,326 dermatitis samples were collected,including 98 samples of method A(group A),106 samples of method B(group B),and 122 samples of method C(group C).The effects of the three methods were sta-tistically analyzed based on statistical data.Results:The itching,pain,and redness and swelling symptoms of post-in-sect bite dermatitis in the three groups of samples were improved,but the skin irritation of group C patients was milder and the symptoms were relieved faster.The pairwise comparison was statistically significant.Conclusion:The improved formula Ziyun ointment can significantly improve the itching,pain,and redness and swelling symptoms of post-insect bite dermatitis in infants and young children,with few side effects and high public acceptance,and can be promoted.
