Objective:To systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of Qinghao Biejia Decoction (QHBJD) in the treatment of cancer fever. Methods:Eight large databases including CNKI were searched by computer to collect rand-omized controlled trials (RCTs) on the treatment of cancer fever with Qinghao Biejia Decoction. Meta-analysis was per-formed after obtaining the data. Results:A total of 23 RCT experiments with 2002 patients were included. The meta-analysis results showed that the effective rate of Qinghao Biejia Decoction group was higher than that of the Western medicine group (P<0.05). The cure rate of cancer fever in the Qinghao Biejia Decoction group was higher than that in the Western medicine group (P<0.05). The adverse reactions of the treatment of cancer fever in the Hao Biejia Decoc-tion group were lower than those in the Western medicine group (P<0.05). The Qinghao Biejia Decoction group could improve the inflammatory response and reduce the white blood cell count to a greater extent than the Western medicine group (P<0.05). Conclusion:The effective rate and cure rate of Qinghao Biejia Decoction in the treatment of cancer-related fever are higher than those of Western medicine alone,and the adverse reactions are lower than those of the control group. Qinghao Biejia Decoction can significantly reduce the white blood cell count and improve the inflamma-tory state of patients.
