Clinical study of DING E's empirical formula combined with percutaneous vertebroplasty in the treatment of senile osteoporotic fractures
Objective:To explore the effectiveness of Ding'e empirical prescription combined with vertebroplasty (PVP) in the treatment of osteoporotic fractures in the elderly. Methods:A total of 90 patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures (OVCF) were selected and randomly divided into a control group and a treatment group,45 cases in each group. All patients in the group received anti-osteoporosis treatment (calcium carbonate D3 combined with cal-citriol capsules) after PVP surgery. On this basis,the treatment group was given Ding'e empirical prescription orally,and the treatment time was 6 months. The pain condition (VAS score),Oswestry spinal dysfunction index (ODI),bone density indexes T,Z and BMD values of the patients before and after treatment were observed,and the clinical efficacy was evaluated. Results:After medication,all effect indicators of the two groups of patients were significantly improved compared with those before treatment;the VAS scores and ODI scores of the patients in the treatment group at each time point after surgery were lower than those in the control group;after 6 months of treatment,the overall comparison of the thoracic and lumbar spine bone density T,Z and BMD values of the patients showed that the treatment group had better effects;after the end of the course of treatment,the effective rate of the treatment group was 95.56％,and the clinical symptoms of the patients improved more significantly,and the differences were statistically significant. Conclu-sion:On the basis of conventional anti-osteoporosis treatment after PVP surgery,the combination of Ding'e empirical prescription for the treatment of OVCF can effectively improve the clinical efficacy,increase the bone density level,and reduce the pain score and spinal dysfunction score,effectively promote the recovery of spinal function and prevent the recurrence of fractures,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
