Xin'an medicine,as an important regional comprehensive academic school of traditional Chinese medi-cine,has produced many factions and branches in its long history of development,and has put forward many theoreti-cal ideas.The idea of"Guben Peiyuan"proposed by Xin'an doctors represented by WANG Ji and SUN Yikui has important guiding significance for the treatment of cardiogenic edema in later generations.That is,in clinical practice,by emphasizing the nourishment of spleen and stomach Qi and blood,and protecting the vital energy of the gate of life,chronic cardiogenic edema,a wasting disease,is treated from the root,which highlights the principle of preventing the disease from changing after it has occurred,and can achieve a simpler and more effective treatment effect in clinical prevention and treatment.
