HUANG Chuanbing's Experience in Differentiating and Treating Behcet's Disease
Behcet's disease is a recurrent autoimmune disease with vasculitis as the pathological change,which affects many systems and organs of the whole body.The condition is complex and changeable,and the disease is linger-ing and repeated.Professor HUANG Chuanbing believes that the disease is based on deficiency and excess,with damp heat accumulating toxin as the standard,deficiency of both Qi and yin as the foundation,damp-heat as an important pathogenic factor,and deficiency of both positive and negative throughout.To treat common damp-heat syndrome of liver and spleen and heat accumulation syndrome of spleen and stomach in early stage,it is advisable to clear away heat and promote diuresis,purge fire and detoxify,and the prescriptions are Longdan Xiegan Decoction or Gancao Xiexin Decoction combined with Xiehuang Powder,and Qingwei Powder.In the middle and late stage,spleen deficiency and dampness stagnation syndrome and yin deficiency and internal heat syndrome are common,and the treatment should be combined with attack and reinforcement,strengthening the body resistance and eliminating evil.The prescription is modified by Buzhong Yiqi Decoction,Liuwei Dihuang Pill combined with Erzhi Pill or Baihe Dihuang Decoction.At the same time,pay attention to promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis,and add and sub tract with symp-toms.Good clinical effect.
