To Explore the Potential Targets and Mechanism of"Xianhecao and Yuxingcao and Zicao"in the Treatment of Radiation Enteritis based on Network Pharmacology and Molecular Docking
Objective:To explore the potential targets and mechanisms of action of the horn medicine of"Houttuynia cordata and Houttuynia cordata and Lithospermum officinale"in the treatment of radiation enteritis based on network pharmacology and molecular docking technology.Methods:Firstly,the potential targets of drugs and diseases were screened using TCMSP,Genecards and OMIM databases,and the intersection genes of the two were taken.The protein interaction network was constructed by importing the String12.0 data platform,and the"drug-ingredient-disease"tar-get network was constructed using Cytospace3.9.1 software.The intersection target KEGG and GO enrichment analysis was performed using R language based on the DAVID database.Results:22 active ingredients were screened from the three traditional Chinese medicines,and there were 160 intersection genes with radiation enteritis.The potential core components predicted were ellagic acid,kaempferol,catechin,luteolin,and quercetin;the main potential core target genes were TP53,AKT1,JUN,TNF,IL-6,etc.Enrichment analysis showed that the mechanism of action was mainly related to multiple signaling pathways such as oxidative stress,immune response,inflammatory response,and anti-tumor.Molecular docking showed that the core target genes had a high affinity with the core active ingredients.Conclu-sion:"Houttuynia cordata-Houttuynia cordata-Lithospermum officinale"horn medicine may play a multi-target and multi-mechanism role in the treatment of radiation enteritis through genes related to inflammatory response,immune response,oxidative stress,and angiogenesis.
