Objective:To investigate the effect of Yiqi Ziyin Huoxue Tongluo prescription on blood lipids in athero-sclerosis(AS).Methods:AS ApoE-/-mouse model was randomly divided into blank control group,high-fat diet group,Yiqi Ziyin,Huoxue Tongluo Chinese herbal compound group,and atorvastatin group.The mice were treated with dis-tilled water,Yiqi Ziyin Huoxue Tongluo Chinese herbal compound,and atorvastatin for 14 weeks,and the concentration of blood lipids in arterial plaques was compared among the groups.The effect of the Chinese herbal compound on blood lipids in arterial plaques of AS model was detected by centrifugation in a high-speed centrifuge(3000R/min).Results:Compared with the high-fat diet group,the total cholesterol,triglyceride,and low-density lipoprotein in the Yiqi Ziyin Huoxue Tongluo Chinese herbal compound group were reduced,and the high-density lipoprotein was increased com-pared with the atorvastatin group.Conclusion:Yiqi Ziyin Huoxue Tongluo prescription can effectively inhibit the for-mation of AS,and can reduce blood lipid levels together with atorvastatin calcium tablets,thereby reducing the forma-tion of AS plaques.
