Clinical Observation of Total Alkaloids from Mulberry Branches on the Treatment of Diabetes Nephropathy with Phlegm Turbid and Blood Stasis
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of total alkaloids of Ramulus Mori in the treatment of diabetes nephropathy of phlegm stasis type.Methods Retrospective analysis was made on the clinical data of 90 patients with dia-betes nephropathy of phlegm turbid and blood stasis type who were admitted to the primary hospital affiliated with Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Huaibei Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Anqing Petrochemical Hospital and other hospitals from January 2022 to December 2022.They were assigned to either the treatment group or the control group at random.The clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome score and related blood indicators were compared.Results After treatment,The treatment group demonstrated notably superior clinical efficacy when treated with traditional Chinese medicine,compared to the control group.Both groups showed significant improvements in traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores,kidney function related indicators,blood glucose and lipid related indicators,and the degree of im-provement in various indicators was significantly greater in the treatment group than in the control group.Conclusion The total alkaloids of mulberry twigs have a significant clinical effect in the treatment of phlegm turbid and blood stasis type diabetes nephropathy,which has significantly improved the TCM syndrome score,renal function related indicators,blood glucose and lipid related indicators,and can also alleviate clinical symptoms and improve the quality of life of patients.
