Application of Segmental Scrapping Along BBack Bladder Meridian and Left Forearm Pericardial Meridian in Patients with Unstable Angina Pectoris
Objective:To explore the efficacy of scraping along the pericardium meridian of the back and the peri-cardium meridian of the forearm for patients with unstable angina pectoris. Methods:A total of 156 patients with un-stable angina pectoris admitted to the Lu'an Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital affiliated to Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2022 to May 2023 were selected as the research subjects. The patients were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group using the random number table method. The control group received conventional treatment and nursing methods, including dual antiplatelet, lipid regulation, reduction of myocardial oxygen consumption, and improvement of myocardial remodeling. On this basis, the observation group adopted segmental meridian scraping, including the back bladder meridian segment from Feishu,Jueyinshu,Xinshu to Geshu, and the forearm pericardium meridian segment from Tianquan,Quze,Ximen to Neiguan, once every 3 days,5 to 10 minutes for the left forearm pericardium segment,10 to 15 minutes for the back bladder meridian segment, and a total duration of 15 to 25 minutes each time.Angina pectoris symptom scores, fear of movement, and sleep quality were compared between the two groups before treatment,5 days after treatment, and 14 days after treatment. Results:Before treatment, there were no significant differences in angina pectoris symptom scores, fear of movement scale for heart disease patients, and Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)between the two groups(P>0.05).5 days after treatment, the angina pectoris symptom scores of the control group(7.56±2.51)and the observation group(6.92±1.60)were signifi-cantly different(P=0.047);the fear of movement scale score of heart disease patients in the control group(43.77±9.06)and the observation group(41.07±9.79)were significantly different(P=0.048);the PSQI score of the control group(8.85±2.62)and the observation group(8.16±2.13)were not significantly different(P=0.056).14 days after treatment, the angina pectoris symptom score of the control group was(6.86±2.10)points,and that of the observation group was(6.15±2.22)points,with a statistically significant difference(P=0.029);the fear of movement of the control group was(40.85±10.34)points,and that of the observation group was(38.18±6.90)points,with a statistically significant differ-ence(P=0.025);the PSQI of the control group was(7.60±2.27)points,and that of the observation group was(6.85±2.30)points,with a statistically significant difference(P=0.031).Conclusion:Compared with conventional treatment and nursing, the use of scraping along the back bladder meridian and the left forearm pericardium meridian segment com-bined with conventional treatment and nursing can improve angina pectoris symptoms, fear of movement and sleep quality more positively.
