Systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)patients with lymphadenopathy(LAP)are very common in clini-cal practice,indicating the activity of SLE disease.Professor LIU Jian treated SLE with lymphadenopathy through the method of TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment.He believed that spleen and kidney deficiency is the key patho-genesis of SLE,and the key pathological factors are the intense heat and toxicity,and phlegm and blood stasis blocking the collaterals.Clinical treatment pays special attention to strengthening the spleen and replenishing Qi,cultivating the foundation of acquired constitution,and according to the evolution of the disease,the method of nourishing yin,clearing heat,removing blood stasis,and detoxifying is used to treat both the symptoms and the root causes,achieving signifi-cant clinical efficacy.
