This Paper Briefly Describes the Experience of Treating, liver fibrosis after chronic plus(sub-)acute Liver Failure based on Kang's Theory of Epidemic Depression
Currently, the focus of clinical attention for slow-progressive acute liver failure is still on short-term prognosis, namely, improvement of symptoms and related serological indicators;insufficient attention is paid to long-term prognosis, such as the prevention and treatment of liver fibrosis and cirrhosis after liver failure.Professor Kang,Liangshi, one of the first 500 master teachers of traditional Chinese medicine in China,a lifetime fellow of the Chinese Medical Association, and a recipient of the State Council's Special Allowance and the Ministry of Health's Award for Carrying,Forward and Developing,Traditional Chinese Medicine,is a ninth-generation practitioner of medicine in his family and is known as"the Liver Disease Destroyer"in Southeast Asia.Through years of clinical practice,he has formed his own unique system of traditional Chinese medicine liver disease theory and creatively proposed the"Yi Yu Theory".Comrade Ruan Qingfa, the head of the Kang's Liver Disease School Inheritance and Development Studio,is currently the chief of the Fujian Provincial Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine's Hepatology Branch and the chief of the Xiamen Association of Integrative Medicine's Hepatology Branch.Based on the Kang's Yi Yu Theory,he advocates that attention should be paid to the long-term prognosis of liver failure and that oral treatment with Chinese medicine should be started as soon as possible for patients with liver fibrosis after liver failure to prevent progression to cirrhosis in the future. It is proposed that the principle of"first removing, stagnation and then supplementing,deficien-cy"be followed, with the treatment method of"smoothing,Liver Qi and nurturing,Spleen Qi."A periodized treatment is adopted, with emphasis on clearing, phlegm, dampness, blood stasis, etc.in the early stage, restoring,Qi and blood of the Spleen and Liver in the middle stage, and nurturing,Kidney Qi in the later stage.A case report is attached for the readers'reference.
