Clinical Observation of PFNA Combined with Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Treatment of Intertrochanteric Fractures in the Elderly
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of PFNA minimally invasive internal fixation combined with tra-ditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of intertrochanteric fracture of femur in the elderly. Methods:Sixty patients with intertrochanteric fracture of femur underwent simultaneous surgical treatment in Taihu County Hospital from April 2017 to October 2018 were randomly divided into two groups,30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with closed reduction and PFNA.The treatment group was treated with PFNA minimally invasive internal fixation com-bined with oral Chinese medicine. The hip function index, complication rate and fracture healing time were compared between the two groups. Results:All patients were followed up for 6-18 months after treatment. There was no differ-ence between the two groups.Postoperative Harris score in the treatment group(83.17+6.17)was higher than that in the control group(80.07+5.55),and the difference works(P<0.05).Fracture healing time in the treatment group(13.80+1.65)was shorter than that in the control group(15.32+0.87).The incidence of complications in the treatment group was 6.7%lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:PFNA minimally invasive internal fixation combined with traditional Chinese medicine oral treatment of intertrochanteric fracture of the femur in the elderly has a good effect, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
