Exogenous liver cancer is a special type of hepatocellular carcinoma, which is a rare disease and prone to fatal complications such as tumor rupture and bleeding.Western medicine mainly uses surgery and interventional treat-ment.A case of exogenous liver cancer that cannot be treated with surgery or intervention was reported using a combina-tion of traditional Chinese and Western medicine. The patient was mainly characterized by bloody ascites and elevated alpha fetoprotein.Western medicine focused on liver protection, diuresis, and supportive symptomatic treatment, while traditional Chinese medicine mainly used methods such as tonifying qi and spleen, removing blood stasis and stopping bleeding, and softening hardness and dispersing nodules, combined with external treatment of traditional Chinese medi-cine.After treatment, the patient's ascites subsided, tumor indicators decreased, and the condition stabilized.
