Professor ZHANG Xikui applied Zhongjing's Six Meridians Syndrome Differentiation to the treatment of renal edema.According to the pathogenesis and transmission rules of the Six Meridians,the treatment is divided into meridians.The treatment of the Taiyang Meridian syndrome of wind binding the Taiyang and the stagnation of the su-perficial Qi is to relieve the superficial symptoms and promote lung function,promote diuresis and reduce edema;the treatment of the Taiyang Fu syndrome of wind binding the Taiyang and dampness blocking the bladder is to promote Yang and transform Qi,promote diuresis and resolve the superficial symptoms;the treatment of the syndrome of evil binding the Shaoyang and the three burners is to harmonize the Shaoyang externally and relieve the three burners in-ternally;the treatment of spleen Yang deficiency and the accumulation of fluid in the middle is to warm the Yang and strengthen the spleen,promote Qi and promote diuresis;the treatment of the syndrome of Shaoyin cold transformation and the decline of life gate fire is to warm the Yang and benefit the fire,promote diuresis and restore the Yang;the treatment of the syndrome of Shao Yin heat transformation and Yin deficiency and water accumulation is to nourish the Yin and reduce fire,promote diuresis and nourish the Yin.
