Allergic rhinitis not only seriously affects the quality of life of patients,but also is an independent risk factor for inducing asthma.Western medicine treatment may have safety issues such as systemic side effects and local adverse reactions,while immunotherapy is further constrained by long treatment courses and large individual differenc-es in efficacy.In response to this situation,we attempt to explore the topic of traditional Chinese medicine treatment for allergic rhinitis.Based on our understanding of the traditional etiology and pathogenesis of allergic rhinitis,we roughly divide the treatment of allergic rhinitis into three stages:early,middle,and late.In the early stage(attack stage),pro-motion is the main approach,supplemented by Qingli;In the mid-term(subacute phase),both warming the middle and ventilating the lung should be emphasized,and the balance of warming and ventilating should be appropriately tilted according to the clinical situation;In the later stage(remission period),both strengthening the spleen and nourishing the yin are emphasized,supplemented by promoting lung function,warming the middle,and removing blood stasis.The treatment principles of traditional Chinese medicine for allergic rhinitis are explored from the perspective of treating the disease and achieving clinical cure.Conclusion:The traditional Chinese medicine treatment for allergic rhinitis can be divided into three stages:"Xuan Wen Jian"treatment,with the key being early and mid stage treatment.
