Effects of Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction and Wendan Decoction on Blood Pressure and Clinical Symptoms of Patients with Phlegm-dampness Hypertension
Objective:To explore the effect of Banxia Atractylodes Tianma Decoction and Wendan Decoction on blood pressure and clinical symptoms in patients with phlegm-dampness type hypertension.Methods:92 patients with phlegm-dampness type hypertension who met the criteria were selected for study,and divided into two groups using the random number table method,with 46 cases in each group.The control group was treated with amlodipine besylate.The observation group was treated with Banxia Atractylodes Tianma Decoction and Wendan Decoction on the basis of the western medicine treatment of the control group.Both groups were treated for 1 month.Observe the patient's systolic blood pressure,diastolic blood pressure;TCM symptom score;clinical efficacy.Results:Compared with the systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure of the control group before treatment,the changes in the observation group during the same period were not significantly different(t=0.260,P=0.795,t=0.283,P=0.778).After 1 month of treat-ment,2 The systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure of the observation group were both reduced(t=13.774,P=0.000,t=15.238,P=0.000),(t=11.239,P=0.000,t=11.382,P=0.000),and the observation group(132.82±5.12)mmHg,(80.87±3.65)mmHg were lower than those in the control group(136.11±5.35)mmHg,(83.17±3.88)mmHg,and the difference was significant(t=3.013,P=0.003,t=2.928,P=0.004).Compared with the TCM symptom scores of the control group before treatment,the difference in changes in the observation group during the same period was not significant(t=0.406,P=0.686).After 1 month of treatment,the TCM symptom scores of both groups were significantly reduced(t=29.320,P=0.000,t=29.249,P=0.000),and the score of the observation group(5.24±0.87)was lower than that of the control group(6.05±1.15),and the difference was statistically significant(t=3.810,P=0.000).The total ef-fective rate of treatment in the observation group[45/46(97.83%)]was higher than that in the control group[40/46(86.96%)],and the difference was significant(χ2=3.866,P=0.049).Conclusion:Banxia Atractylodes Tianma Decoction combined with Wendan Decoction has a good effect on improving the blood pressure of patients with phlegm-dampness type hypertension,and can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of the patients,with good curative effect.
