Objective:To explore the efficacy of Qingfei Huatan Decoction combined with western medicine in the treatment of bronchiectasis with phlegm-heat blocking the lungs and its effect on inflammatory indicators.Methods:82 patients with bronchiectasis who met the criteria were selected and divided into groups according to the treatment plan.45 patients in the control group were treated with conventional Western medicine,and 37 patients in the observation group were treated with Qingfei Huatan Decoction on the basis of the control group.The results of all patients The du-ration of treatment is 10 to 14 days.The TCM syndrome scores,clinical efficacy,inflammatory indicators,lung function and occurrence of adverse reactions were compared and analyzed between the 2 groups of patients.Results:Compar-ing the two groups of patients before treatment,the differences in various indicators were not significant(P>0.05).After treatment,the total clinical effective rate,forced expiratory volume in 1 second(FEV1)and FEV1/forced vital capacity(FVC)of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05);the total TCM syn-drome score,C The levels of reactive protein(CRP),procalcitonin(PCT),and the total incidence of adverse reactions were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:For patients with bronchiectasis due to phlegm-heat congesting the lungs,the combined therapy of Qingfei Huatan Decoction and western medicine has defi-nite clinical efficacy.It can significantly reduce the level of inflammatory indicators and the incidence of adverse reac-tions in patients,and at the same time,it can effectively improve The patient's lung function has high clinical applica-tion value.
