Clinical Observation of Treating Hepatolithiasis with Bupleurum Shugan Powder
AIM:To observe the clinical effect of Bupleurum Shugan powder on postoperative hepatolithiasis.METHODS:Sixty-three patients diagnosed with hepatolithiasis were selected for laparoscopic or open hepatolithiasis surgery,and were randomly assigned after surgery,including 32 cases in the control group and 31 cases in the treat-ment group.The control group was treated with laparoscope or open surgery,after which symptomatic treatment such as anti-infection and fluid rehydration was given.The treatment group was additionally treated with bupleurum Shugan powder.The scores of symptoms and signs,postoperative body function recovery,liver function,serum bile biochem-istry,inflammatory response and stone recurrence rate of the two groups were observed respectively.RESULTS:After treatment,there were no significant differences in the scores of symptoms and signs and the recovery of body function between the two groups(P>0.05).At 7 days after operation,ALT,AST,GGT,AKP and ALB were significantly dif-ferent between the two groups(P<0.05).At 3 days after operation,TBA and TB were significantly different between the two groups(P<0.05).There were significant differences in TBA,TB,CB and UCB between the two groups at 7 days after operation(P<0.05).There were significant differences in CRP between the two groups at 3 days after op-eration(P<0.05).There were significant differences in CRP,IL-6,PLT,WBC and NEUT%between the two groups at 7 days after operation(P<0.05).The recurrence rate of stone in the control group at 1 year and 2 years was signifi-cantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION:Bupleurum Shugan Powder plays the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in soothing liver and gallbladder,and has a good clinical effect on hepatolithiasis.
