Clinical Effect of Regulating Acupuncture Combined with Rehabilitation Therapy in Treatment of Dyskinesia with Qi Deficiency and Blood Stasis after Cerebral Infarction
Clinical Effect of Regulating Acupuncture Combined with Rehabilitation Therapy in Treatment of Dyskinesia with Qi Deficiency and Blood Stasis after Cerebral Infarction
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of regulating acupuncture combined with rehabilitation therapy in the treatment of dyskinesia with Qi deficiency and blood stasis after cerebral infarction.Methods A total of 60 patients with dyski-nesia with Qi deficiency and blood stasis after cerebral infarction were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 30 patients in each group.In addition to basic treatment,the patients in the control group were given rehabilitation thera-py,and those in the treatment group were given rehabilitation therapy and regulating acupuncture.The two groups were ob-served in terms of Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA)score,Activities of Daily Living (ADL)score,Qi deficiency and blood sta-sis syndrome score,serum transferrin (TF),and nerve growth factor (NGF)before treatment and after 4 weeks of treatment,and overall treatment outcome was compared between the two groups.Results Two patients in the treatment group and one patient in the control group were lost to follow-up.After treatment,both groups had significant increases in FMA and ADL scores(P<0.05),a significant reduction in the syndrome score of Qi deficiency and blood stasis (P<0.05),and significant in-creases in the serum levels of TF and NGF (P<0.05),and compared with the control group,the treatment group had signifi-cantly greater increases in FMA and ADL scores and the serum levels of TF and NGF,as well as a significantly greater reduc-tion in the syndrome score of Qi deficiency and blood stasis (P<0.05). The treatment group had a significantly better clinical outcome than the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Regulating acupuncture combined with rehabilitation therapy has a marked clinical effect in the treatment of dyskinesia with Qi deficiency and blood stasis after cerebral infarction.
