The cooperation between China and the Arab world in nurturing young talents offers a reservoir of talent and intellectual backing for the establishment of a China-Arab community with a shared future.Analyzed from the perspective of social systems theory,the China-Arab cooperation for cultivating young talents has been developing over the past 70 years,and through the process of framing,it has formed a self-generated dynamic development system with strong vitality.Driven by the positive factors of externalization,it can provide inexhaustible impetus for China-Arab practical cooperation in various fields.The establishment of the China-Arab Cooperation Forum in 2004 marked the institutionalized development stage of China-Arab cooperation for cultivating young talents,gradually forming a multi-participation of governments,universities,think tanks,and enterprises,covering many fields such as language,politics,economy and trade,culture,and science and technology,and including a complex system of higher education,primary and secondary education,and vocational education.The high-quality co-construction of the"Belt and Road"between China and Arab countries has further enriched the connotation of cooperation in cultivating young talents between China and Arab countries and increased the efforts in cooperation in cultivating high-end and high-level young talents.Based on the comprehensive and multi-dimensional platform of China-Arab cooperation for cultivating young talents,both sides have cultivated a large number of research-oriented,language-complex,and technologically applied talents,promoted cultural exchanges,and enhanced China's national image in the Arab region.While achieving fruitful results in China-Arab cooperation for cultivating young talents,there are still some challenges.The attractiveness of the brand of China-Arab educational cooperation needs to be enhanced,communication on talent policies between the two sides should be further strengthened,and cooperation in talent cultivation should avoid asymmetric dependence.
