Research on the Cause Configuration of Production Safety Accidents Based on fsQCA Method—Take the Petrochemical Industry as an Example
In order to explore the causal relationship between safety accidents and various accident-causing factors in the pet-rochemical industry,30 typical accident cases in the petrochemical industry are taken as the research objects, the accident causation theory, fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis method(fsQCA)and cluster analysis are comprehensively applied to analyze the influence mechanism of different condition groupings on the occurrence of safety accidents in the petrochemical industry. The analysis results show that human operation errors, equipment failure or aging, lack of safety awareness,over-loaded operation and lack of periodic maintenance are the main causes of production safety accidents..The configuration con-ditions composed of human operational errors, lack of safety awareness, and periodic maintenance deficiencies can easily trigger production safety accidents. The research results can help to provide new perspectives for the management of produc-tion safety in the petrochemical industry.
