Practices of Course Objectives Achievement Evaluation Based on Engineering Education Accreditation—Taking System Safety Engineering Course as an Example
To promote the continuous progress of higher education in China,based on the concept of Engineering Education Accreditation,taking system safety engineering as an example,it is proposed to establish the supporting relationship between course objectives and students'graduation requirements,evaluate the achievement of the course objectives,and put forward corresponding continuous improvement measures.The results show that the achievement degree of sub-curriculum goal 1 is the highest,the achievement degree of sub-curriculum goal 2 is different among students,and the achievement degree of sub-curriculum goal 3 is the lowest.According to the existing problems in the current teaching mode,the authors put forward the corresponding suggestions for continuous improvement in the aspects of teaching methods,teaching means and teaching objectives.It verifies that the concept of engineering education accreditation plays an important role of the concept of engi-neering education accreditation in promoting the updating of teaching content,improving educational quality,and fostering the all-round development of students.
