Impact of Viscosity of Temperature-dependent Viscous Fluid on Turbine Flowmeter Measurement and Algorithm Adjustment
In order to explore the influencing system on the turbine flowmeter measurement by the viscosity of temperature-dependent viscous fluids, the flow measurement experiment was combined with the fluent simulation calculation to study and propose the solution. The results show that the instrument coefficient tends to stabilize and the influence on the turbine flowmeter measurement by the viscosity decreases with the flow increases;that the fluid viscosity and the energy loss demon-strate an approximate positive correlation;that the ExpDec2 mathematical model can effectively fit the instrument coefficient of turbine flowmeters with an R2 value reaching 0.99134;and that the model is verified by other data confirming its univer-sality.The obtained fitted curve can be used to adjust dynamically the instrument coefficient to provide a guarantee for the in-telligent measurement safety.
