Construction and Practice of Applied Talent Training Model for Occupational Health Engineering Major Taking North China Institute of Science and Technology as an Example
In order to improve the quality of the talent cultivation in the field of the occupational health engineering,based on the importance of the occupational health and the country's emphasis on life and health,the occupational health engineering major of North China University of Science and Technology was taken as an example,the school's exploration and practice in establishing talent cultivation goals,formulating talent cultivation plans,constructing curriculum systems,improving prac-tical teaching systems,building faculty teams,and student management were introduced.It was proposed to establish a culti-vation model for cultivating composite talents with occupational disease prevention,occupational hazard control,and emer-gency response capabilities through interdisciplinary teaching methods.The results show that through a series of practical ex-plorations,significant achievements have been made in student's scientific research participation,competition awards,em-ployment rate,and enterprise satisfaction,laying the foundation for the school to continuously cultivate applied talents meet-ing social needs in occupational health engineering.
