Experimental and Numerical Simulation Analysis of Gas Leakage and Diffusion in Offshore Oil Production Platform
Based on a typical offshore platform of SIN-OPEC Shengli Oilfield,an experimental platform with a reduction ratio of 1∶22 was built.Equipment such as storage tank, natural gas treatment system, and three-phase separator were selected as gas leakage sources to conduct the methane leakage diffusion law testing experiments based on the Froude numerical similarity theory. At the same time, leakage and ex-plosion analysis software FLACS was used to model, and numerically simulation of typical leakage condi-tions was carried out.By comparing the results of gas leakage experiment and numerical simulation, the to-tal average error of the two groups of data was 8.70%,which verified that the numerical model had good prediction accuracy.Combined with numerical model and experimental data, the diffusion law of methane leakage on offshore platforms was further an-alyzed,which provided theoretical and data support for the prevention and control of oil and gas leakage safety risks on offshore platforms.
