Study on the Carbon Emission Effect and Influencing Factors of Land-Use in Nanjing Metropolitan Area Based on LMDI Model
Based on the LUCC data of Nanjing Metropolitan Area from 2005 to 2020,the effect of land use carbon emis-sions in Nanjing Metropolitan Area during 15 years was analyzed by constructing a land use dynamic model and a carbon emission accounting model, and the influencing factors of land use carbon emissions were analyzed by using the LMDI model. The results showed that from 2005 to 2020,the construction land in the study area increased by 2 586.47 km2,the cultivated land decreased by 2 561.51 km2,the forest land and grassland decreased by 225.20 km2,and the increase of regional construc-tion land area and the decrease in area of cultivated land, forest land and grassland mainly contributed to the change of land use type in the study area. From 2005 to 2020,the net carbon emissions of the Nanjing metropolitan area increased from 41.915 1 million tons to 78.672 6 million tons, with a growth rate of 87.96%,and the increase of construction land area was the main reason for the increase in carbon emissions. The carbon emissions of Nanjing,Zhenjiang and Ma'anshan accounted for more than 61.77%of the total of the Nanjing metropolitan area, while the carbon emissions of Wuhu and Yangzhou in-creased by 254.93%and 36.46%respectively,with cities along the Yangtze River having higher carbon emissions.Chuzhou had the lowest carbon emissions, followed by Xuancheng, and the forest land area of the two cities accounted for 74.60%of the forest land area in the study area. The average contribution rates of land use carbon emission intensity, land use composi-tion,economic level and population size were 1.10,1.12,1.82 and 1.03,which played a role in promoting carbon emissions in Nanjing metropolitan area, and the contribution rate of land use intensity factors was 0.55 on average, which was the only in-fluencing factor that consistently played an inhibiting role.
