Design of Dual-Band Filtering Antenna Based on SIR Multi-Mode Resonator
A dual-band filtering antenna based on multi-mode resonator is designed in this paper. The filter resonator uses stepped impedance resonator(SIR)to miniaturize the split-end shunt structure, which can flexibly control the center frequen-cies of two frequency bands. The filtering antenna is integrated with the rectangular monopole antenna loaded with open-cir-cuit truncated line.It works in ISM frequency band(industrial, scientific and medical frequency band).Three radiation zeros are introduced outside the two passbands, achieving high selectivity for the operating frequency band, with gains of 1.60 dBi and 4.03 dBi,respectively. The test results show that the reflection coefficient, peak gain and radiation direction map are in good agreement with the design simulation results, demonstrating good filtering and radiation characteristics.
