Reverberation Chamber Stirring Method Based on Phased Array Antennas
Reverberation chambers are often used for electromagnetic compatibility testing, but traditional mechanically stirred reverberation chambers are difficult to build and inconvenient to operate. This paper proposes a phase stirring method based on the scanning and frequency stirring of phased array antennas, and tests are carried out in a reverberation chamber of 7.8 m×4.8 m×3.4 m.The results show that the field uniformity meets the requirements of GB/T 17626.21-2014.In addition, the traditional correlation coefficient method and the autocorrelation(AR)model are compared for solving independent samples, and uncertainty analysis is performed. The proposed method is applicable to reverberation chambers of any size.Compared with mechanical stirring,it has a larger test space and faster test speed, which helps to reduce the cost of electromagnetic compatibility testing.
