Analysis of air NO2 pollution characteristics and influencing factors in the Yangtze River Delta based on Sentinel-5P
Based on the NO2 column concentration data retrieved by the TROPOMI(Tropospheric Monitoring Instrument)carried by the Sentinel-5P satellite, using the Google Earth Engine platform, combined with natural factors and human-made social factors, the pollution characteristics and influencing factors of atmospheric NO2 column concentration in the Yangtze River Delta region were analyzed by Theil-Sen Median slope estimation,Mann-Kendall trend test,Geodetector. The results show that:(1)The NO2 column concentration data retrieved by the Sentinel-5P satellite has a good correlation with the NO2 mass concentration of ground observation stations(r ≥ 0.59,p<0.01),which can more accurately reflect the atmospheric NO2 pollution in the Yangtze River Delta region.(2)The atmospheric NO2 column concentration in the Yangtze River Delta shows seasonal periodic fluctuations, showing a high in winter and a low in summer change.(3)The column concentration of atmospheric NO2 has significant spatial heterogeneity. On the whole,it is high in the northeast and low in the southwest, showing a NO2 column concentration boundary from Lu'an to Taizhou in the'northwest-southeast'direction,and a southwest'U-shaped'mouth centered on the Taihu Lake urban agglomeration.(4)NDVI,elevation,electricity consumption of the whole society, the output value of the secondary industry, and the output value of the tertiary industry are important factors affecting the spatial distribution of atmospheric NO2 column concentration in the Yangtze River Delta. The regional atmospheric NO2 column concentration was significantly affected by the interaction of factors, and the interaction q values of elevation and NDVI with other factors were all above 0.6.
