Application of improved radar chart method in fire risk assessment of university dormitory
The purpose of this paper is to evaluate and study the fire risk of college student dormitories reasonably. To achieve this goal, the following measures have been taken in this paper:Firstly, the author established an evaluation index system and evaluation scales from four aspects:man, machine, environment, and management.Secondly, the cooperative game method was used to combine the subjective weighting results obtained by the interval analytic hierarchy process and optimal transfer matrix with the objective weighting results obtained by the entropy weight method to get the combination weighting of evaluation indicators.Subsequently,we converted the index weight set into the angle between each index axis and calculated the value of the indicator.Eventually, the ratio of the average perimeter of the radar chart to the perimeter of a circle of the same area was taken as the short board coefficient to modify the average area of the fire risk radar chart, which was taken as the evaluation characteristic quantity. This method can avoid the subjectivity of human empowerment and visually display the weak links in risk control in graphical form. Finally, taking a student dormitory building in a certain university in Shenyang as an example, the fire risk assessment was conducted by using the improved radar chart method. The evaluation results show that the fire risk level of the student dormitory building is in a"general risk"state, which is relatively safe. However, there are significant loopholes in daily management, personnel fire emergency awareness and skills,as well as control of violations. The fire risk level of the student dormitory building is consistent with the actual situation of the dormitory building. Therefore,it can be concluded that the evaluation method based on an improved radar chart has strong effectiveness and feasibility, providing new ideas for fire risk assessment in university dormitories.
