An emergency rescue personnel dispatch model integrating the Big Five personality traits characteristics
This study introduces an emergency rescue personnel dispatch model that integrates the Big Five personality traits. The aim is to enhance the alignment between rescue personnel and tasks, address skill inadequacies, and account for the influence of personal traits on rescue effectiveness. The model incorporates evidence theory and the knowledge accumulation function to provide a more comprehensive approach to emergency rescue personnel assignment. The model is designed to enhance the effectiveness of rescue operations by optimizing the alignment between emergency rescue personnel and tasks through the inclusion of personality traits and rescue skills.Given the absence of quantitative research linking the Big Five personality traits with emergency rescue efficiency, this study utilizes evidence theory and the Best-Worst Method(BWM)to evaluate the suitability of emergency rescue personnel's personality traits and skills for different rescue tasks. Moreover, acknowledging the probable disparity between the starting proficiency of emergency rescue personnel and the task requirements, this research introduces a knowledge accumulation function. This function utilizes the concept of diminishing marginal utility to calculate the ideal training duration for rescue personnel to meet the necessary skill level for active participation in rescue missions. This approach enhances the readiness of emergency rescue personnel for diverse tasks.Lastly,by integrating these elements,a multi-objective optimization model was formulated to enhance the alignment between emergency rescue personnel and task demands. This model aims to maximize compatibility while minimizing the overall training and deployment duration, facilitating the effective allocation of rescue resources.By examining the Luding earthquake rescue operation in Sichuan, this research validates the efficacy of the model. The findings demonstrate that incorporating the personality traits of emergency rescue personnel markedly enhances the alignment between rescuers and tasks, leading to improved task completion.Additionally, with suitable emergency training, rescue personnel can swiftly adjust to varying task requirements, thus facilitating the seamless execution of rescue missions.
