Corrosion behavior of AH32 ship plate steel under coupled effect of chlorella and illumination
The simulated dynamic seawater experimental device built independently was used to study the co-rrosion behavior of AH32 ship plate steel under the coupling effect of chlorella and light. The results show that under chlorella-free conditions, light had less influence on the corrosion behavior of AH32 steel in seawater. With chlorella and dark conditions, agglomerated flaky FePO4 was generated on the surface of AH32 steel, which blocked the contact between the corrosive medium and the substrate to a certain extent. The self-corro-sion potential of AH32 steel in the presence of chlorella and light environment,on the other hand, was the highest, and the corrosion current density was the lowest at 2.1×10-5 A/cm2,the generation of a relatively sta-ble double-layer oxide film on the surface of the substrate can effectively prevent the erosion of corrosive me-dia on the substrate, which in turn improves the corrosion resistance and service life of AH32 steel.
