Study on the Repertoire Selection in the Vocal Music Teaching for Adults
In recent years,the demand for vocal music teaching for adults has gradually increased with the change of China's population structure due to the growing needs of adults to improve their quality of spiritual life.Consequently,new textbooks and repertoire for vocal music teaching spring up,which can be generally classified into four major categories suitable for social education,grading test,university textbooks,and specific purpose.Based on the characteristics and needs of adults,the editing of repertoire for adult vocal music teach-ing should integrate professional and popular education.It should possess eight characteristics in four groups:artistic and cultural,scientific and professional,practical and interesting,targeted and open-ended.This inte-gration aims to assist adult vocal education in achieving progressive,individualized,rewarding,enjoyable,and practical teaching effects.
