Musical theater,as an art form,was not officially introduced to China until the 1980s.After more than 40 years of evolution,with the increasing maturity of the domestic musical theater market and the gradual improvement of public awareness of musical art,Chinese musical theater has transitioned to a new era of local-ized exploration.Musician Sanbao has created a distinct personalized style with the grandeur and popular lyri-cal musical charm of his musical works.Based on the creative characteristics of Sanbao's musical works and the principles of Chinese local musical theater creation,this article explores in depth the valuable insights it provides for the creation of Chinese local musical Theater.
