Strategies for Enhancing the Professional Competence of High School Ideological and Political Teachers
Teachers are the cornerstone of education,and their professional competence significantly influ-ences educational outcomes.For high school ideological and political teachers,their professional competence is intrinsically linked to the achievement of the fundamental goal of moral education.This paper first examines the connotation of professional competence among high school ideological and political teachers,followed by an a-nalysis of the current challenges they face in this regard.Building on this foundation,we explore strategies for enhancing the professional competence of these educators from three perspectives:the teachers themselves,schools,and government institutions.The aim is to provide guidance and reference for advancing the profession-al development of high school ideological and political teachers.
