The practical ability of music teacher trainees has a decisive impact on their future teaching effec-tiveness.The aim of this study is to explore a practical ability training model for music teacher trainees that combines"guidance from renowned teachers and collaboration between schools and rural areas".This model combines the cooperation between experienced music teachers(famous teachers)and rural schools,providing a platform for music teacher trainees to experience real teaching environments,conduct practical teaching,and reflect.Through the guidance and feedback of renowned teachers,teacher trainees can quickly improve their teaching skills,classroom management abilities,and the effectiveness of their interactions with students in actu-al teaching.This model helps to enhance the practical abilities of music teacher trainees and also plays an ef-fective role in supporting the development of music education in rural schools.Through the sorting and analysis of relevant theories,this article explores the strategies and challenges for implementing this model.
