The study used a questionnaire to investigate the relationship between interdependent self and em-pathy fatigue among 880 firefighters and explored the moderating role of organizational support.The results showed that Interdependent self was negatively related to empathy fatigue.Firefighters with high interdependent self had less empathy fatigue.Organizational support moderated the relationship between interdependent self and empathy fatigue.
