Effect of stereotactic minimally invasive surgery on neurological function in patients with brain glioma
Objective To investigate the effect of stereotactic minimally invasive surgery on neurological function in patients with brain glioma.Method A total of 100 patients with brain glioma were divided into traditional group and minimally invasive group according to different treatment methods, with 50 cases in each group. The traditional group underwent traditional craniotomy, and the minimally invasive group underwent stereotactic minimally invasive surgery. The surgical indicators, clinical efficacy, neuropeptide levels,National Institutes of Health stroke scale(NIHSS)scores,Glasgow coma scale(GCS)scores, activity of daily living(ADL)scores, and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups.Result The surgical time and hospitalization time in the minimally invasive group were shorter than those in the traditional group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate in minimally invasive group was 80.00%,which was higher than 62.00%in traditional group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).One year after surgery, the levels of arginine vasopressin and β-endorphin in the two groups were lower than those before surgery, the levels of arginine vasopressin and β-endorphin in the minimally invasive group were higher than those of the traditional group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Three months after surgery, the NIHSS scores of the two groups were lower than those before surgery, and the NIHSS score of the minimally invasive group was lower than that of the traditional group, the GCS and ADL scores of the two groups were higher than those before surgery, and the GCS and ADL scores of the minimally invasive group were higher than those of the traditional group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the minimally invasive group was 8.00%,which was lower than 24.00%of the traditional group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of stereotactic minimally invasive surgery in the treatment of brain glioma patients can shorten the surgical time and hospitalization time, improve clinical efficacy, reduce the damage to the patients'nervous system and improve the neurological deficits, thus helping to improve the patients'daily living ability and reduce the incidence of complications.
