Application effect of whole course pain management in patients with advanced lung cancer bone metastasis pain
Objective To investigate the application effect of whole course pain management in patients with ad-vanced lung cancer bone metastasis pain.Method A total of 126 patients with advanced lung cancer bone metastasis pain were selected, with 68 patients who received routine pain management from January 2020 to June 2021 as the con-trol group, and 58 patients who received whole course pain management from July 2021 to December 2022 as the obser-vation group. The numerical rating scale(NRS)scores, incidence of explosive pain, cancer pain status[American Pain So-ciety-patient outcome questionnaire-medified(APS-POQ-Medified)],psychological status[self-rating depression scale(SDS),self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)],quality of life[European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer quality of life questionnaire core 30(EORTC QLQ-C30)],and nursing satisfaction were compared between two groups.Result After the intervention, the NRS scores of the both groups were lower than those before the intervention, the NRS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the incidence of explosive pain in the control group was 42.65%,which was higher than 13.79%in the observation group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the intervention, the satisfaction scores of pain control in both groups were higher than those before the in-tervention,and the pain degree, pain impact, and pain belief scores were lower than those before the intervention, the sat-isfaction score of pain control in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the pain degree, pain impact, and pain belief scores were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically signifi-cant(P<0.05).After intervention, the SDS and SAS scores of the both groups were lower than those before the interven-tion,the SDS and SAS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the all dimensions of EORTC QLQ-C30 scale scores in both groups were higher than those before the intervention, the all dimensions of EORTC QLQ-C30 scale scores in the obser-vation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The nurs-ing satisfaction rate of the observation group was 98.28%,which was higher than 80.88%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion The application of whole course pain management in pa-tients with advanced lung cancer bone metastasis pain can significantly improve the degree of pain and negative emo-tions,improve quality of life and nursing satisfaction.
