Analysis of influencing factors of embolism syndrome in liver cancer patients after transcatheter arterial chemoembolization
Objective To explore the influencing factors of embolism syndrome in liver cancer patients after trans-catheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE).Method A total of 120 liver cancer patients who received TACE were di-vided into non-occurrence group(n=63)and occurrence group(n=57)according to occurrence of embolism syndrome. The clinical characteristics of the two groups were compared, and the influencing factors of embolism syndrome in liver cancer patients after TACE were analyzed by Logistic regression model.Result There were significant differences in gender, history of heart disease and Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group(ECOG)performance status(PS)score be-tween occurrence group and non-occurrence group(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in age, body mass in-dex,tumor number, tumor diameter, degree of education, history of hypertension/diabetes,preoperative pain,α-fetopro-tein level,Child-Pugh grade and Barcelona stage between the two groups(P>0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression anal-ysis showed that female was protective factor for the occurrence of embolism syndrome in liver cancer patients after TACE(P<0.05),while history of heart disease and ECOG PS score of 1 point were risk factors for the occurrence of em-bolism syndrome in liver cancer patients after TACE(P<0.05).Conclusion Gender, history of heart disease and ECOG PS score are influencing factors of embolism syndrome in liver cancer patients after TACE.The above factors should be considered in clinic to formulate targeted preventive measures,so as to improve the prognosis of patients.
