Effect of self-efficacy intervention on postoperative joint function,self-management efficacy, and psychological state of patients with distal femoral osteosarcoma
Objective To investigate the effect of self-efficacy intervention on postoperative joint function,self-man-agement efficacy, and psychological state of patients with distal femoral osteosarcoma.Method A total of 86 patients with distal femoral osteosarcoma were divided into control group(n=43)and observation group(n=43)based on different intervention methods. The patients in the control group were received routine intervention, while the patients in the obser-vation group were received self-efficacy intervention. The joint function[Lysholm knee score scale(LKSS)],psychologi-cal status[self-rating depression scale(SDS),self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)],self-management efficacy[Chinese-strate-gies used by people to promote health(C-SUPPH)],and incidence of complications were compared between two groups.Result The excellent and good rate of joint function in the observation group was 95.35%,which was higher than 76.74%in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the positive attitude,self-determination,and self-decompression scores of the two groups were higher than those before the intervention, the positive attitude,self-determination,and self-decompression scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the SDS and SAS scores of the two groups were lower than those before the intervention, the SDS and SAS scores of the observation group were low-er than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of com-plications in the observation group was 9.30%,which was lower than 27.91%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Self-efficacy intervention can promote postoperative joint function recov-ery in patients with distal femoral osteosarcoma, effectively improve self-management efficacy and negative emotions, and reduce the incidence of postoperative complications.
