Effect of family-participated intervention on psychological state and quality of life of patients with urostomy after radical bladder cancer surgery
Objective To investigate the effect of family-participated intervention on psychological state and quality of life of patients with urostomy after radical bladder cancer surgery.Method A total of 104 patients with urostomy after radical bladder cancer surgery were divided into control group(n=52,routine intervention)and observation group(n=52,family-participated intervention)according to different intervention methods. The psychological state[self-rating anxi-ety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS)],quality of life[functional assessment of cancer therapy-general(FACT-G)],complications and satisfaction of the two groups were compared.Result After intervention, the SAS and SDS scores of the two groups were lower than those before intervention, the SAS and SDS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After inter-vention,the scores of each dimension of FACT-G in both groups were higher than those before intervention, and the scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically signifi-cant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the total satisfaction rate was higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Family-participated intervention can improve the psychological state and quality of life of patients with uros-tomy after radical bladder cancer surgery, reduce the incidence of complications, and improve satisfaction.
