Value of ultrasound,MRI,and tumor markers combined detection in the differential diagnosis of ovarian benign and malignant tumors
Objective To investigate the value of ultrasound,MRI,and tumor markers combined detection in the dif-ferential diagnosis of ovarian benign and malignant tumors.Method A total of 80 patients with ovarian tumor were se-lected,all patients received ultrasound,MRI and tumor markers detection. The patients were divided into benign group(n=50)and malignant group(n=30)according to postoperative pathological examination results. The ultrasound image characteristics,MRI imaging findings and tumor markers[carbohydrate antigen 19-9(CA19-9),alpha-fetal protein(AFP),carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125)and carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)]of the two groups were compared. The diagnostic value of ultrasound,MRI and tumor markers single and combined detection for ovarian malignant tumor were analyzed.Result Ultrasound showed that the proportions of tumor irregular shape, uneven echo and no envelope in the malignant group were significantly higher than those in the benign group, and the blood flow resistance index in the ma-lignant group was significantly lower than that in the benign group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).MRI showed that the proportions of tumor irregular shape, bilateral distribution, solid or solid-cystic components, and unclear boundary in the malignant group were significantly higher than those in the benign group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).The levels of CA125,CA19-9,AFP and CEA in the malignant group were signifi-cantly higher than those in the benign group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of ultrasound,MRI and tumor markers com-bined detection in the diagnosis of ovarian malignant tumor were higher than those of the single detection. Conclusion Ultrasound,MRI and tumor markers combined detection has higher diagnostic value for ovarian malignant tumor.
