Diagnostic value of multi-slice spiral CT in different phase scans for multicenter hepatocellular carcinoma
Objective To analyze the diagnostic value of multi-slice spiral CT(MSCT)in different phase scans for multicenter hepatocellular carcinoma.Method A total of 64 patients with multicenter hepatocellular carcinoma were se-lected,all of them underwent MSCT examination before pathological examination.Using pathological diagnosis results as the gold standard, the detection rates of liver cancer lesions by MSCT at different time phases were evaluated. The CT value on MSCT different time phases were compared between the normal liver tissues and liver cancer lesions.Result The pathological examination results showed that there were 96 lesions in 64 patients with multicenter hepatocellular car-cinoma,and MSCT examination detected a total of 94 liver cancer lesions, with detection rate of 97.92%.MSCT en-hanced scan detected 88 liver cancer lesions in the arterial phase, with detection rate of 91.67%,which was higher than 78.12%in the portal phase and 81.25%in the delayed phase, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The CT values of normal liver tissues on CT plain scan and arterial phase were lower than those of liver cancer lesions, while the CT values in portal phase and delayed phase were higher than those of liver cancer lesions, the differences were statis-tically significant(P<0.01).CT plain scan showed that the multicenter hepatocellular carcinoma was enlarged in size and unregular in shape, the enhanced scan showed a fast-in and fast-out mode, with mild uneven enhancement visible in the arterial phase, the portal phase enhanced gradually decreased, and the delayed phase showed low density. Conclusion MSCT enhanced scann can clearly display the enhanced characteristics of multicenter hepatocellular carcinoma, and im-prove the early detection rate.
