Application effect of fast track surgery intervention in patients with oral flap repair after oral cancer surgery
Objective To explore the application effect of fast track surgery(FTS)intervention in patients with oral flap repair after oral cancer surgery.Method Forty-nine patients with oral flap repair after oral cancer surgery who re-ceived conventional intervention from January 2019 to May 2020 were included in the conventional group, and forty-nine patients with oral flap repair after oral cancer surgery who received FTS intervention from June 2020 to January 2022 were included in the FTS group. The surgery-related indexes, pain degree[visual analogue scale(VAS)],swallowing func-tion and complications were compared between the two groups.Result The drainage tube removal time, feeding time, bed rest time, infusion time and hospital stay in the FTS group were significantly shorter than those in the conventional group(P<0.01).At 6,24,48 and 72 h after surgery, the VAS scores in the FTS group were significantly lower than those in the conventional group(P<0.01).Two weeks after surgery, the swallowing function of the FTS group was significantly better than that of the conventional group(P<0.01).The total incidence of postoperative complications in the FTS group was lower than that in the conventional group(P<0.05).Conclusion FTS intervention can promote the recovery of pa-tients with oral flap repair after oral cancer surgery, reduce pain degree and complications, and improve swallowing func-tion.
