Analysis of influencing factors for the quality of life of breast cancer patients after operation
Objective To analyze the influencing factors for the quality of life of breast cancer patients after opera-tion.Method The medical records of 107 patients with breast cancer were collected, including the age, body mass in-dex,education level, monthly income, hypertension, diabetes, tumor location, pathological type, estrogen receptor(ER)expression, progesterone receptor(PR)expression, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)expression,lymph node metastasis,TNM staging, surgical methods, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, endocrine therapy and targeted therapy. The quality of life was assessed by functional assessment of cancer therapy-breast(FACT-B)during the follow-up 3 months after operation.Multiple linear Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of postop-erative quality of life of breast cancer patients.Result Univariate analysis showed that the postoperative FACT-B scores of breast cancer patients with education level of high school or below,TNM stage Ⅱ-Ⅲ,modified radical surgery,radio-therapy,and no targeted therapy were lower than those with college or above education,TNM stage Ⅰ,breast conserving surgery,no radiotherapy, and targeted therapy,respectively(P<0.05).Multiple linear Logistic regression analysis showed that TNM stage Ⅱ-Ⅲ,modified radical surgery and radiotherapy were independent risk factors for the quality of life of breast cancer patients after surgery(P<0.05),and targeted therapy and college or above education were independent pro-tective factors for the quality of life of breast cancer patients after surgery(P<0.05).Conclusion Breast cancer patients with TNM stage Ⅱ-Ⅲ,modified radical surgery, and radiotherapy have poorer quality of life, while those who received targeted therapy and higher education have better quality of life.
